The first day in
office is not supposed to be like this. You step in and expect to be stared at
by the senior employees, instead, what greets you is an empty office, well lit
and welcoming. In an hour or so the remaining folks start trickling in and stop
just a second to smile at you and then proceed to their workstations.
You are taken around
by the smiling and friendly HR person and shown around the premises and after
many many introductions later, you are taken to the place that blows your mind
away. The tiny kitchenette proudly displaying its water dispenser and coffee machine
and a humongous box full of chocolates that would seemingly last a lifetime;
makes the heart do a happy dance!
In short, this newbie
in this office is quite happy with what she has seen but still is taking her
own time to settle down.
