Womanhood!

During the ABC April Challenge, the only thing I used to chant 24 hours was the alphabet of that day. Now fast forwarding to 5 months from then, I'm still chanting, but now it's Seven... Seven... Seven.......

Yesterday during the gospel preaching part of the evening mass, the Priest choose to explain about Mother Mary. She was one perfect lady seen in this world. (No offences to any other religions and the women portrayed there.) All the qualities that a woman should have was heavenly bestowed upon her.

A woman comes in all colors, shapes and size. They bring hope and love, values and virtues, compassion and empathy, energy and wisdom along with them. They know that a kiss or a hug or just a smile can ease a heart break. Woman can be kid to her father, a friend to her mother, a supportive yet naughty sister to her brother, a companion for her male friends, the gossip queen to her girl friends, a responsible yet a spoiled wife to her better half and a loving mom to her child.

Being a woman we are entitled to many privileges and 'our only rights' and which we tend to utilize at it's best. ;)

So today for my Seven"s thought of celebrating my womanhood.

1. No person in this universe will love you like your mom. Whatever you do, she may scold, crip or even shout at you but at the of the day she'll be there to hug you, console you and kiss away your tears and fears.

2. A woman understands her man, her kids like no one. Even if her dear once are seas apart, she feels what her child feels. And will be a call away to support him. She intuitively sense when something is wrong even if she's in the middle of multitasking.

3. She is sensitive. A woman is sensitive to others tears and sorrows. She rarely turns her head away from the needed. We all learnt the virtue of caring and sharing from the ladies of our family.

4. She is loyal to her loved ones. When she loves a person she is willing to do anything under the sun for him/her, even if it hurts her.

5. She can be your best friend, supporter, critic, counselor and partner in crimes.

6. Even when she look fragile outside, she's one strong hearted person.

7. She maybe stubborn, arrogant and proud like a King now, but the next moment she can be as humble as a child.

If the world can see a mother in every woman, then the world will respect her and love her for who she is. :)

V for ... ...

"Value of a Woman"

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don’t take “no” for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they

think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have the compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their

family and friends.

Women have vital things to say

and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH!

I absolutely love being a Woman!

Women are one creation of God that I am extremely proud of and wonderfully grateful for being one (even thou once in a while I wish the opposite). Woman are smart and powerful. But they know how to use their soft side to make a point.

And the best ones in my eyes....

  1. The ability to give birth.
  2. We could give hugs anytime and get no questions.
  3. New last name, from every new marriage. :D
  4. Make up is part of our daily regime and no one will question us.
  5. Women can wear silky, frilly, any color clothes.
  6. Doors are held open for us and chairs pulled out for us.
  7. We can co-ordinate an event with just an SMS.
  8. We always get place in public transport. It’s the law.
  9. We can cry when we are stressed, happy or angry.
  10. We can read maps and ask for directions without any hesitation.
  11. We can bargain as if there’s no end.
  12. We can let out and control our emotions.
  13. We see through people and most of the time our intuitions are right.
  14. We can go shopping for hours and men are supposed to be our support factor and bill payer.
  15. We can be extreme good listeners and nonstop talkative.
  16. We can bring immense positive energy to the people around us with a smile and a good word and also can crap anyone’s mood with our cranky self.
  17. Women can multi-task with ease.
  18. Shoes are woman’s best friend and they serve as a weapon too.
  19. Chances of getting a speeding ticket is higher and flirting a way out is also far higher. ;)
  20. Woman is the queen of her palace, and if you mess with her, you are tossed out.

P.S. Happy Woman's Day to all the Women out in the world. You people are just beautiful, powerful and so graceful. We do make this place a better world.
Cheerz.

God Blez.

Dear girl reading this,

I hope you go to sleep with a smile on your face. No tears, no stress, no hurt, or pain. I hope you realize how amazing you are and someone out there or that someone that you're with notices that. Don't let anyone or anything bring you down, trust me its not worth it. You're beautiful, always remember that, and don’t let anyone tell you less. Close your eyes and think about all the things that make you happy, those are the things that really count and matter. Taken or not, always make sure you're truly happy and don't ever feel lonely, someone will take that loneliness away when the time is right. ♥

God Blez.

Marriageee...???.....Obviously can wait longer!!!

Marriage!!!

This is the villain of my life now.

Even before I tasted the essence of being independent … everyone wants to send me away to some unknown home to call some unknown parents Mom and Dad.(No offense…!!!... But still…)

I am still an immature “child”, stubborn as a mule for the silliest issues. Even thou my friends and well-wishers agree with these, they stick to the part that 'm mature enough to marry. And when I open my mouth to argue about something with my dad, he says you’re still a child, but a child who’s old enough to marry??!!!

You grow up in a place where you were pampered, spoiled and lived like an adamant princess with a king size bedroom which you guard as if it's your life and never allow a single soul to get inside without your permission and suddenly you are asked to move out to some other place leaving all your people and possessions and that too on a permanent basis where you share a home with people most likely strangers to you at that moment… and more over share a room with a perfect stranger at that point. … (I know, Maybe later on you won’t even able to think about that place without him…. But that’s LATER ON…)

Till yesterday he was perfect doing all his chores and today just cos he’s married he can’t even find his socks!! You who never even took care of yourself are now supposed to “look after” him like a kid. You who never bothered to cook a decent meal for your own taste buds are required to cook for him all the meals and that too in an international standard.  And once you who bragged to yourself that you’ll never change or never alter a bit from who you are, is supposed to tune yourself to that particular HIM and his family. And he who would never even dares to even think about that!!!

And now this guy will decide to whom you talk, how long you will be on phone, who will stay as your friends,  where u go, what time you’ll be back and a guy’s name from you will cause raised eye brows and a female’s name from his mouth should be treated just as a friend or a colleague!!!!

WHAT THE HELL!!!!  Why everyone is eager to push a girl who’s enjoying her single life and freedom with her friends and family into been someone’s doll!!!!

When I feel like falling into the bloody trap I'll let the world know!

Now, Do leave me alone!!!!!!

P.S. Been a person who are surrounded by an awesome Dad, a sweet brother, some lovely bro-in-laws and very genuine male friends.... I know that world is so  full of good guys who treat the women of their life with love and respect. So all the above arguments are just the silly reasons I come up with, whenever the topic of marriage creeps up in family. Pretty lame! I Know! :D

P.S.S. God bless all the couples.

:)
