Soul Mate!

Do you believe in Soul mates?
Personally, I do. I believe in the instant likeness or attraction we feel for someone, maybe from the same or opposite sex. It doesn’t have to be romance, but maybe like a sibling, best friend, an advisor, or just a stranger.

Usually soul mate is defined as a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity, similarity, love, sex, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, or compatibility. But in his huge world how do you expect to bump upon your soul mate and that too at the right time. If one is lucky enough to get their soul mate, that’s a blessing. But or else, does it mean we can’t have a meaningful relation?

Soul mate or not, it takes immense understanding, love, compromise, patience to build a relation. Be it be any relation, it is a test and challenge. No one is perfect in this world. And there will be certainly something in another person which we won’t like. But the love we have for the one just out rules that dislike for that habit of him/her. So you don’t just meet your soul mate and live in love forever, but you have to grow together in a relation and become soul mates.

When you find a friend with whom you share everything that matters to you in spite of the distance or the time difference between you two, then he/she is a soul mate of yours.

When you find someone who you wanna wake up every morning with and wanna grow old with, that person is your better half and definitely your soul mate.

When you feel incomplete without your family, they are your soul mates.

Every individual that makes us who we are, are our soul mates. Every person with whom our life doesn’t become happy is our soul mates. So more than finding out your soul mate, give importance to every relation you have in your life and give the best into it.

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants.  But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.  A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake.  A soul mate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so out of control that you have to transform your life.”
