Happy Children's Day! :)

Always jump in the puddles! Always skip alongside the flowers. The only fights worth fighting are the pillow and food varieties. And you are never too old to do goofy stuffs!

Random.

We tend to love certain people like none other. They may not be our blood, partner, family or anyone. Just a random person we met along journey of life. But during that journey they become one of the important soul to us. They may be with us till the end, or they just go through another way. But what ever it is, they will always be there in our life visibly or invisibly.

So why do we love and give soo much importance to certain people?

Maybe out of familiarity.

Maybe out of understanding.

Maybe out of care.

Maybe out of friendship.

Maybe out of feelings.

Maybe out of passion.

Maybe coz the person makes you feel complete.

Maybe coz of the happiness you give each other.

Maybe coz they make you feel good.

Maybe coz of the smiles you give each other.

Maybe coz of what they are to you.

Maybe coz of what you become for them.

Maybe just coz you love that person.

A loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself – to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedom and can never grow in a jealous heart.

Soul Mate!

Do you believe in Soul mates?
Personally, I do. I believe in the instant likeness or attraction we feel for someone, maybe from the same or opposite sex. It doesn’t have to be romance, but maybe like a sibling, best friend, an advisor, or just a stranger.

Usually soul mate is defined as a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity, similarity, love, sex, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, or compatibility. But in his huge world how do you expect to bump upon your soul mate and that too at the right time. If one is lucky enough to get their soul mate, that’s a blessing. But or else, does it mean we can’t have a meaningful relation?

Soul mate or not, it takes immense understanding, love, compromise, patience to build a relation. Be it be any relation, it is a test and challenge. No one is perfect in this world. And there will be certainly something in another person which we won’t like. But the love we have for the one just out rules that dislike for that habit of him/her. So you don’t just meet your soul mate and live in love forever, but you have to grow together in a relation and become soul mates.

When you find a friend with whom you share everything that matters to you in spite of the distance or the time difference between you two, then he/she is a soul mate of yours.

When you find someone who you wanna wake up every morning with and wanna grow old with, that person is your better half and definitely your soul mate.

When you feel incomplete without your family, they are your soul mates.

Every individual that makes us who we are, are our soul mates. Every person with whom our life doesn’t become happy is our soul mates. So more than finding out your soul mate, give importance to every relation you have in your life and give the best into it.

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants.  But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.  A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake.  A soul mate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so out of control that you have to transform your life.”

To Myself of 2013...

The future can be scary, but you can’t go back to the past, just coz the road is familiar. But nothing in this world can take you back to yesterdays. When I sit here and dwell on my yesterdays, there are moments I miss, people I wish where still there in my life, days I wish I could erase completely and things I wish to redo.
But yesterday is your past and it already have passed. Live your today and appreciate the moment. :)

A Letter to the Future Me.

(( Will I remember to read this next year? (Fingers crossed) ))

Hey Girl! :)

I have no idea what you are doing now or where you are but hope this finds you in a smiling face.

How are you today? Do you still have those cranky mood swings which used to drive lil Brats nuts? And how's that guy, is he still the same or matured?? ;)

Hope you are not yet "Settled" and is clinging to the 25++ years for that. Or did you find your guy?? If then, cherish the moment.

I am curious to know whether you still read and is that blog of yours anywhere in the surface? More curious to know where you reached career wise. Are you still in love with words? Do you still give every relation the value and time it needs? Hope you learned to control the sarcastic inner Goddess of yours and still have some legit girlfriends. And your guy friends? Are those guys still irritating and lovable as before??

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, I hope you are more passionate and caring, earnest and loving, composed and outgoing than the past. Do keep in touch with all those people you love. If you haven’t called any of your friends for the past two weeks, dial them up Now!

Hope you are living your life the way that you want to live it rather than how others want you to live it. I hope you have found that courage and strength, and I hope you realize that your loved ones accept you for who you are—and they always will accept you.

You should always remember to do what you truly want because you want to. Never lose your passion for trying/doing things that make you happy. Take the road less travelled, if that’s what you want. Even if others are skeptical and naysayers.

But whatever you do at the end of the day you should be happy, coz a day spend in misery is not worthy. Keep Smiling :) And whatever happens moveon with a Smile. God's always there to wink at you when you are feeling down-promise. :)

Hugs & kisses & loads of love.

From a Past version of Yourself! :)

P.S. Should I post it to myself?

PARI

Sharing a Blogpost from another blog, My Little World, which I am completely in love with...

PARI … (Angel)

"Why are you doing this when you can have your own?",Mom asked furiously, almost in tears.

"Atleast think about the society. They will raise so many questions to you and your parents. They'll doubt your...",an acquaintance was trying hard to convince.

"You people are hurting your parents. They had so many aspirations from you.Don't you have any obligations towards them?", another fellow added.

"Apna khoon apna hi hota hai.No one else can take his place.Do whatever you want!",Papa asserted loudly and left the room.

But the couple was adamant to their decision.Nothing in the world could bent them.

They said "Sorry Ma,Sorry Paa.But we are really not bothered what others would think of us.We are not doing anything wrong. And If you want we'll have our own too.But this has to be done.Today and Now.We have promised her."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

They took the keys and hurried to the place.

"Hello sister!"

"Hello Sir.Hello Ma'am.All formalities have been done. You just have to sign here.",the matron said.

"Yeah.we'll just do."

"Congratulations to both of you.God bless you people."

"Thank you sister!"

They both looked at each other.Happiness, love, contentment and proud tinged vividly in their eyes. They distributed sweets to everyone out there.

He kissed her on her forehead for the very first time and hugged her tight.(Ah!Truly Divine. An awesome feeling).

The three of them then headed towards the temple on the opposite side of the road, to seek blessings of the Almighty.

The papers on the dashboard of the car were gleaming brightly on that full moon night. They read,

"St. Anthony Girls Orphanage
.........................................
.........................................
Child's Name:PARI
Age:2 yrs ,6 months
Sex: Female
Adopted by:
Mrs and Mr.............
on 6'Feb'2011"

And on the backseat were kept a teddy-bear,a doll in pink,a toy train,a remote control car,a big box of chocolates and toffees, small little pair of shoes, few packets from 'Kids Wear' shop etc etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once in school ,a friend asked "What does it mean to be adopted?"

"It means",said Pari "that you grew in your mommy's heart instead of her tummy :)"

Reason, Season, or Lifetime

A friend of mine asked me recently, ‘Why did you come to my life again?’…. And today, as an answer I came across this poem…

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

P.S. Don’t know whether I am your reason, season, or your lifetime. But hope it would be a happy one. :)
