Bhageerathi never felt fit in like other children. When everyone was quiet and played with
their dolls and kitchen sets, she chose to play football, climb trees and be a
free spirit. Thou her parents constantly reminded her that girls have to silent
and should raise their voice, or run around like boys, she never let that kill
the fire inside her. All her thoughts, rage and dreams where for the pages
behind her notebooks. She never felt good enough to share her words with
anyone. But she found solace in them. It made her happy and in peace. And one
day when her best friend discovered her words, and convinced her that her words
shouldn’t be hidden like this, a beautiful bold artist was born.
It just
takes one person to take you forward. And for Bhageerathi that was her friend.
