Friends!

"When with you, I feel like doing all the crazy things." - Statement of a friend when I questioned about his desire to snow mountain climb with me.

Guess, that mere statement defines Friendship. The freedom to able to do all the crazy things and the belief that the other one could accompany you even if its the most insane idea.  Friendship are those moments of blissfulness you feel when with each other. The moments you wanna store for a lifetime. We are in our true weird self when with an equally weird bunch. So in a way our friends define us. At those times, we just don't care about anything or anyone, our profession, age or even where in the world we are. We are just ourselves.

Cheers to all those beautiful souls in my life, who brings out the insanity in me. :)

Nothing!

Nothing: It's a state of mind.

Nothing: It's a place seen everywhere but still its nowhere.

Nothing: It's the happiness or the drained out feeling that tickles your tummy.

Nothing: It's the passion you feel for that one person.

Nothing: It's the love you show through your not so insignificant actions.

Nothing: It's the word used when you wanna mask your true feelings with a smile.

Nothing: It's most used when you have so much to express.

Nothing surely is not Nothing but so much.

Birthday!!

Thought of participating in the Writer's Post Thursday Blog Hop #81

And this week Bhavya of Ishithaa is the host.

The theme is  Birthday

She opened her eyes... to him. The safest and the happiest place of hers. Waking up next to him every morning was her dream and growing old with him was her prayer.

And here they are, next to each other.

She cuddled more to him and whispered with a million dollar smile, "Happy Birthday Dear" and waited for him to open his eyes. But he, even without budging a bit or taking the trouble to open his eyes, kissed her forehead and murmured back, "Happy Birthday to Us, Sweetheart" and drifted back to sleep, hugging her.

That simple wish made her day.

All the differences, distances, the mushy chottu mottu fights, craziness and the simple moments like these, remind her how blessed they are to have each other. Smiling and thanking her stars, she closed her eyes again to cherish those birthday moments of theirs.

---------------------------------------------------

She opened her eyes... again.

But to an absolutely empty bed.

She hugged herself and whispered to the heavens to him... "Happy Birthday to Us dear. I miss you."

And she still thanked her stars ... but along with a tear drop.

What Type are you?

I happened to come across this site when I was wondering in Bhavya's Ishithaa

It analyses your personality based on your Blog. But how? No idea! But looks fun... so here goes about My type....

The author of http://sheethalsusan89.blogspot.com/ is of the type ISFP.

ISFP - The Artists

The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people feel. They usually have a strong appreciation for art and beauty or things around them that affect the look, taste, sound or smell.

They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living. They genuinely care about people.

They are extremely gifted at creating and composing things that stimulates the senses, such as art, music or food. They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They have no desire to lead others and they don't want to be led. ISFPs are sometimes not good at giving him/herself enough credit for things they did well.

Common satisfying careers: Fashion Designer, Artists, Interior Designer, Landscape Architect, Nurse, Massage Therapist, Botanist, Teacher, Geologist, Translator, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Cosmetologist and Translator.

Notable ISFPs: Ulysses S. Grant, Sofia Coppola, David Lynch, Brad Pitt, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, David Beckham, John Travolta, Liv Tylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Nero and Wicket the Ewok.

Aaah.... Really?? Anyways I loved them calling me an Artist! Maybe in future I can be an artist in it's true sense.

So which is your Personality type? Go on... Give it a try! :)

Wordless...

Life!

As Shakespeare said, "All the world's a stage. And all the men and women merely players."

True.

Life is a drama played in this worldly stage and we all are just actors. But the usual drama has a rehearsed script, to which we have to act. But in real life, it's a live show. No rehearsal, no retakes, no editing, nothing. It just happens as the master plan.

Life has it's ups and downs. It goes through a path of its own and we are bound to follow it. But in this life one thing we could do despite the situations,  is to hold our dear ones hand at all times. Hold it softly in happiness and hold it more strongly at times of difficulties.

P.S. Let there be a world of happiness.

Life taken too soon.

One of my favorite professor passed away today evening IST. He was fighting against Jaundice but had to surrender to it atlast. He was not from my college. But we used to go for tuitions to him. He was such an awesome teacher that you would just fall in love with him...in the right sense of course. Even thou I hated every subjects he taught me, I loved going to his classes. He could just make all those boring equations, theorems and machine principles and working into something more dramatic and interesting. And the way he dealt with us students was like a friend. He would get angry if we cross our limits otherwise he's just so awesome. He would tease and pull our legs like there's no end.

Two years before, his wife died of cancer and they have a lil boy of maybe 6 or 7. And maybe coz the mother was sick, the kid was so attached to his father. Even during the class the lil dude will call out for his father and at times will come and sit in the class.

First thought that crossed my mind when heard about his demise was his child. He lost both his parents. Suddenly he became all along in this big world.

Why such fate to good people? He already lost his wife, and that too, to cancer. And before she died, she was sick for many years. But one would never guess that from his personality. He was always a cheerful and smiling man. He used to tease me about my riding speed and used to tell that I just scare him the way I ride. But still send me to buy the markers needed for the class, saying that I won't take much time to return, courtesy to my speed. Suddenly I just miss him so much. Even thou I never had any contact with him after those classes. But the thought that he's no more and even if I wish to see him once, I can't... that just hits somewhere deep.

Death is one guest who comes without any invitation, without permission or even without knocking. And when he goes, he just takes a dear one among us, leaving us completely shattered.

Sir, I respect you with all my heart. May you find happiness in the eternal world. You were just awesome when you were here and played your role really well. Hats off to you. Proud to meet you and to know you. You are an inspiration!

P.S. Live your life beautifully.
