Inspiring Blogger?..... Me??..... Wow...!!! :)

Second Blogger award in a week. Wow!!!!! I am Happy Happy Smiling Smiling. :)

I got nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger by the Beautiful Blogger from Another Clean Slate (Check out her space, she's a beautiful writing). Thank you so much for this. This is really impressive. But Inspiring blogger.... isn't that a bit too much? But still I am accepting and doing this.

The rules are:

1. Display award logo on blog - Check!
2. Link back to the person who gave you the award - Check!
3. State 7 things about yourself - Getting to that!
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link back to them. Easy enough! - Right Below!

Seven things About ME (Screen-name) of Scribblings.

1. Coffee freak. Tomato hater. Book lover.
2. I never had a pet ever in my life till date.
3. I am a perfect Gemini, including the dual personality stuff and I am so proud of that.
4. My best friend list consists of guys more than girls. And I think guys add less drama to life but irritates you to hell.

6. I really want to ride a Bike. But never got a chance to learn.
7. I have so many nick/pet names. Almost every important person feels that they should give me a new name. But I do enjoy that. It's their way of showing love.

Now the Nominees in no particular order

2. Brandy

4. Rowena

5. KK

6. Dee

7. Maggid

9. Bhav.Zz

Who knows, maybe I might find my next best friend in one of these Beautiful people! :) Do go through those blogs above, they are some awesome people, with so much of awesomeness in their writings. :)

God Blez.

  3. It's never to late to learn to ride a bike. If you know someone with a small one just push your self around with your feet, when you get a bit better at balancing for longer with out touching the ground, try putting your feet on the pedals, slowly but surely you'll get it. Thanks so much for nominating me again, I am thrilled.

    1. I didn't mean the cycle bike. ..even though I don't know to ride that too. But here I mentioned the motor bike. .. the Harley Davidson type. :D

  4. You are definitely inspiring most specifically because you take the time to comment, not just once, but frequently on people's blogs. You don't just pop by for one visit because someone visited you, you keep visiting and I think that is both lovely and inspiring :)

Yikes, I see you nominated me again - thank you so much! The hardest part of these nominations is finding others to nominate because I have been blogging for a long time, but not very frequently and I don't know many other bloggers. I struggled to find 11 for the last one, but I will do my best to find some inspiring people out there :)

  5. LOL. I think nicknames are a sign of love too. (That's why my kids each have a dozen of them.)

Thank you for the nomination--and congrats on receiving it!

  10. Thank you for the award.I used to hate tomatoes until recently.A very dear friend went to the distance to make something vegetarian for me and made a sandwich with fresh tomatoes and grilled vege during a sausage sizzle party. I was too hungry and also there wasn't any place to throw the tomatoes without anyone seeing.I felt terribly guilty that someone took so much care to remember that I am a vegetarian and make me something good and I was looking for a flower pot to secretly chuck the tomatoes out. So I ate the tomatoes and it really wasn't that bad. Now my children run to the door every time they see me eat a tomato sandwish..to see if they could spot the pigs flying !

    1. You are welcome! :)

I still can't stand them. Yea, sandwiches are the most painful, esp when in a crowd. So these days I order tomato-less sandwiches nd pizzas. :)

    2. There is this sweet north Indian thing called 'seviyan' that I never liked as a child. Then when I was about 10 or 11 years old, me and mom were at one of her friends' house at Patiala. She cooked a bowl of that for me, and I kind of had to eat it as an obligation. I just *love* it now :-)

    3. @KK : Once i was forced to have tomato curry when was in boarding. And that made me hate it more.

    4. @Me: I think being forced to do something by someone you don't know or someone in authority, and by someone who loves you are two different things. Me and you were on different sides of this. My case involved playful prodding, yours involved strict orders (or some less strong word than 'orders'):-)

By the way, I also used to hate tomatoes as a child, until my dad once asked me to eat a tomato like an apple. Without cutting it or anything. I can stand tomatoes in other food, like sandwiches and 'sabzi', but tomatoes in salad are simply divine for me now.

  11. I thought I was one of the only people who didn't like tomatoes. It's always embarrassing eating burgers or sandwiches in front of people I don't know well since I have to pick them off. I do like pizza though, and some tomato sauces, but it depends.

    Congrats on the award!

    1. Welcome to the gang Jocelyn! :) I like tomato ketchup's, and tomato flavored chips but the veggie as itself is disgusting!
